The kitchen with stove, refrigerator, washer/dryer and sink has a door that leads out to a round cement patio where you can barbecue and entertain outside under the trees. The main bedroom has a queen size bed, closet and dresser, the smaller bedroom has a daybed with trundle, dresser and closet. The smaller bedroom also has a door that leads out to a beautiful deck in the forested hillside. The driveway provides off-street parking for three cars. Lake Gregory is just a mile away with all that it offers (swimming, kayaking, boating, hiking, fishing) as well as the quaint town with its shops. Lake Arrowhead is 10 minutes up the hill, Snow Valley is about a half hour away, and Big Bear Lake a little past that. SNOW SEASON runs from about Thanksgiving until March depending on the year.. the house is at 5500' elevation and typically gets about 5 feet of snow per season. The lot has an excellent slope for sledding with little kids and older kids may walk up the road to a great sledding location at the hangglider launch point. Snow Valley is the closest ski resort accessed by major mountain roads and is 17 miles distance. Very good cross country skiing is found on old service roads at the end of the street about 1 mile from the house - there are few sets of cross country skis boots, poles etc available at the house to use. We also have some sleds and disks at the house for the kids. These are only available upon request. SUMMER is terrific in the Crestline area. Lake Gregory is 2 miles from the house and has waterslides, a public beach, paddle boards, fishing and kayaking. The average summer daytime temperature is between 80 - 90 degrees from June through September with clear skies and gentle breezes. 4x4 roads for ATV's and backwoods exploring are abundant. There is great hiking trails, the swimming hole at Heart Rock and Deep Creek hot springs for more ambitious hikers is near by. Enter into the kitchen open to dining area and Living Room. The Living Room offers a smart TV, wood burning fireplace (wood not provided) and large sectional. There is access to the main level deck from the Living Room. The deck has a propane gas grill and propane fire pit. Please note propane is not provided, but guests can use what is there or exchange. The Kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials you need, but if you're looking for something specific please don't hesitate to ask. The doing table seats 6, but there are 2 more chairs if needed. Please make sure to use trivets and placemats on the table as not to damage it. Lower level is Master suite plus a sleeping loft. Updated amenities including wood floors, carpet in bedrooms and granite counter tops. Kitchen fully stocked with all the dishes, utensils and cookware for a fabulous dinner party. There is a fully fenced yard off the master bedroom plus an additional fully enclosed dog run accessed through a dog door in the master bedroom. The 2 twins in the loft are in a loft that is open to below. The Master suite is the entire lower level but does not have a door, but still is private. The fireplace is a wood burning stove, wood not provided. The barbecue is a Weber charcoal grill, charcoal not provided. Maximum number of guests allowed per the county is 8. If we find more than 8 guests in the home we will have to remove them immediately. 2 cars max in the driveway per the county. There is no street parking allowed per county short term rental code. Caltrans may have chain check points as you enter the mountain and require chains even if you have a 4WD or AWD vehicle. I advise all our guests to be prepared and have chains or cables with tensioners. Dogs Welcome! All pets need to be approved by management. Pet owner accepts full responsibility for pet and the pet owner agrees to indemnify home owner, Sheena's Chalets and any agents or representatives from any damages resulting from pet or guests negligence. Pet owner attests their pet has no history of aggression or biting. There is a $150 fee for each pet. No Huskies are allowed or Cats. We will provide our own contract for you to sign. Spread out in this spacious 3-story house with multiple living areas as well as a full kitchen, and 3 full bathrooms. The house has 4 bedrooms and a family room with a full size sofa bed and queen sized air mattress. It comfortably fits 13, with plenty of additional space to put down more air mattresses. You walk into the house onto the second floor where you will find the formal living room, dining area, guest bath, kitchen and one of the bedrooms. The upstairs bedroom is spacious with direct access to the balcony, has a desk, and a full size bed that pulls down out of the wall. On the lower level you will find the master bedroom with a king bed with a private bathroom. The master bedroom has direct access to the downstairs balcony that runs the length of the house. The lower level also has the family room, bathroom, and two other bedrooms: one with a queen size bed that also has access to the balcony and a bedroom with a full-twin bunk bed perfect for kids. Finally, in the family room there is a full size pull out sofa as well as a queen size air mattress. The air mattress is in the family room closet. If you use them, please deflate them and return them to the closet before you leave. The family room features a flat screen TV equipped with Roku that can be used to sign into your various video watching applications (such as netflix, hulu, vudu, amazon prime, etc. Just don't forget to sign out before you leave!). There are also plenty of games. This is NOT your typical, cabin with saggy beds and threadbare linens. All the beds and linens are new and of high quality and comfort. You'll find the bathrooms upgraded, modern and clean with good lighting and heat. The two decks are large, running the entire width of the house. The top deck has a grill, a small table. The downstairs deck has a rocking porch swing, great for relaxing and taking in the amazing view. Guest access Guests will have access to the entire house except the garage and the closet in the master bedroom. Please note, the washer and dryer will not available to guests as it is in the garage which we keep locked. Interaction with guests You will have total privacy. The owners of the house do not live at the house, so it will just be you and your friends/family. You will receive a code to get into a key lock box to obtain the key, to get into the house at your convenience. You are welcome to check in anytime you like after 3pm. Though I am not there in person, I am available anytime by phone or email to answer any questions or concerns that you may have, please do not hesitate to reach out, we love to hear from our guests regarding their stay. Other things to note Other amenities: 4 TVs, dishwasher, a refrigerator, full kitchen. Kitchen has silverware, pots, pans, plates, glasses, and many other cooking supplies. House may or may not have enough paper towels, toilet paper, or trash bags for your whole group, but there is a nearby store to buy this if needed. All the beds have sheets, pillows, and pillow cases. There are extra blankets and pillows for the beds and couches, but if you have more than 13 guests, you will have bring sleeping pads, pillows, and sleeping bags for each extra person. We do supply hand soap, dish soap, and auto dishwashing detergent. TRASH: Please see house rules for how to dispose of trash. There will be a fee of $25 per bag left behind There is heat in the house, however, there is no centralized AC. There is an AC unit on the second floor, but with all the windows and balconies there is a great fresh breeze that cools the place down if it gets too warm downstairs.

Our cabin is centrally located to not only Lake Gregory, but to local stores, restaurants, shopping, and walking/hiking areas. It is a walking distance to local Goodwin Market and you can walk or run along Lake Gregory. Our beautiful cabin brings back those nostalgic feelings of mountain life, while providing modern luxury with spectacular view of the forest and Lake Gregory. Our cabin comes with 3 bedrooms, a king size in the master bedroom (bottom floor), bunk bed with two queen size bed in the second bedroom, which seconds as a playroom, with a kids tepee (main floor), and the third bedroom has a king size bed and a sofa (the loft). Additionally, the main living room has a sofa and/or a request can be made for a queen size air mattress prior to stay. The cabin also has two bathroom, one in the bottom floor and the other in the main floor. We have a large deck that is perfect for barbecuing and entertaining friends and family or just having a romantic dinner for two. The cabin is suitable for either a couples retreat or a family getaway.

Within steps to the lake & town, the cabin has been completely remodeled with many luxury touches and comfort in mind. Not only is there an outdoor hot tub, but also an oversized jetted tub in the master suite with spa amenities. You will find fresh herbs lining the patio where you can sit with a glass of wine around the fire pit or play some Jenga at the picnic tables. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need to prepare and cook meals. This house is great for families, couples, birthdays, wedding groups and other relaxed getaways. We've worked hard to make this a very nice and comfortable place to stay and make memories and strive to keep it that way. This is not the place for house parties! It is a tri-level home. The main living space (kitchen, dining rm, living rm, Den/4th bedroom, laundry rm, Doggie Den, and 1 bathroom) are located on the entry floor. The huge master suite is the entire bottom floor, and the top floor has two bedrooms and bathroom. There are new televisions in each bedroom as well as the living room, 2 SmartTVs and 3 TVs with Fire Sticks attached with several streaming apps for you to use or log in to your own. We allow well-behaved dogs without a fee. Please help us to keep it that way by not leaving your dogs alone in the house and by picking up/cleaning up after them. The back patio is a great place for them to stay if you go out for a bit! The yard is fenced but it's only 4 to 5 feet high so if you have a jumper or climber, please supervise them when they're outside. When the weather’s nice, you may prefer to take meals outside to the front patio and barbecue. There’s a gas grill, fire pit, large sectional and a 5 person hot tub which we always maintain and keep heated. We leave two tanks of propane for you. Charcoal and wood fires are not allowed outside. We utilize a ring doorbell camera with two-way audio to assist in check-ins as needed. We also live up the street so if you'd prefer us to meet you at check-in or if you need our help during your stay, we will make ourselves available. Otherwise, we will stay out of your way.
